Should I warn him?

Q: My friend is quite a popular guy in school. He has many admirers but he likes this cheerful girl who has a great sense of humour.

The problem is she already has a boyfriend, although not many people know about it. He doesn’t know. I feel like telling him. Should I?

A: No, please don’t do that. Although it’s good to note that you feel concerned about your friend, it looks like he is quite capable of handling his own affairs.

It would be more appropriate for him to find out for himself about the girl.

Anyway, if the girl is sincere, she will let your friend know about her relationships with other boys sooner or later.

If you talk, it would seem you have become unnecessarily enthusiastic in your friend’s affairs which I think have nothing much to do with you. Get on with your own life. You must have other things to occupy your mind.
