Over 13,000 visitors attended PIHex KK 2012.

6th July, 2012

KOTA KINABALU: Maxx Media Sdn Bhd, the organiser of the recently concluded Property Investment and Home Expo (PIHex) 2012 held at 1Borneo Hypermall, has confirmed the dates for two further editions of the event.

In the interest of making some of Sabah and Peninsular Malaysia’s most prominent developments more easily accessible to interior markets with strong buying power, the organiser will be holding PIHex Tawau and Sandakan in the fourth quarter of 2012.

PIHex Tawau will be held on Oct 20 and 21 at Promenade Hotel, Tawau, while PIHex Sandakan will be held on Nov 3 and 4 at Sabah Hotel, Sandakan.

These exhibitions will follow the same formula that led to a successful first showing for the inaugural edition of PIHex Kota Kinabalu.

Generating over RM40 million in sales during a four-day stretch at 1Borneo Hypermall and attracting more than 13,000 visitors, PIHex assembled a diverse stable of over 60 developers and agencies that represented some of the latest and hottest properties to be found in Sabah, Kuala Lumpur and parts beyond.

The Tawau and Sandakan versions of the exhibition were conceived in response to the positive reaction shown by Sabah’s property-savvy public.

Tawau and Sandakan are home to individuals equipped with significant buying power who may be looking for further channels of investment in addition to the booming tourism and agricultural industries found within those regions.

Bringing the exhibition directly to these areas dispels the need for developers to embark on expensive individual presentations and simultaneously allows residents of Tawau, Sandakan, and by extension, Lahad Datu to attend a property expo without having to fly to Kota Kinabalu.

PIHex Tawau and Sandakan are meant to provide the utmost in convenience for buyers, investors and those looking to rent to view a varied selection of developments from around Malaysia.

The exhibitions will see the return of previous PIHex Kota Kinabalu participants, and will showcase between 30 and 40 exhibiting developers each.

The events will provide the convenience and comfort of perusing a variety of properties in the privacy of a hotel, allowing attendees to examine and evaluate potential investments at their leisure.

Following the pattern set down from PIHex Kota Kinabalu, visitors will be free to interact with developers and scrutinise the individual projects in detail, enabling them to receive information and statistics directly from the source.

The Tawau and Sandakan editions of PIHex will also see the return of one of the event’s most well-received features in the form of property talks.

The free property talks at PIHex Kota Kinabalu proved popular enough to fill rooms with attendees who came to listen on information delivered by some of Malaysia’s most respected experts in real estate and property investment.

Multi-published author and map specialist Ho Chin Soon, recognised as one of Malaysia’s most sought after speakers on the subject will return to share his knowledge on the field. The property talks for both exhibitions will once again be free to attend.

Apart from showcasing a wide selection of property developments, these free to attend two-day property exhibitions will also consist of property talks presented by leaders in the industry. For further information on both events, visit www.PIHex.com, www.facebook.com/PIHex, or call 088-719787.
