KOTA KINABALU: Naza Quest Sdn Bhd officially opened the doors to yet another Chevrolet 3S (sales, services, spare parts) centre yesterday, further expanding the brand’s presence and network throughout the country.
The latest addition at Alam Mesra Shop at Jalan Sulaman, brings the total number of 3S centres in East Malaysia to six; with three of them located in Sarawak, Labuan (one) and Sabah (two).
The new centre was officially launched by Industrial Development Minister Datuk Raymond Tan Shu Kiah.
“Our commitment to new, loyal and soon-to-be Chevrolet customers ensures the continuous expansion of our network of Chevrolet 3S centres and dedicated dealers throughout the country.
“With the opening of this new showroom and service centre, we can better cater to the increasing number of Chevrolet customers in East Malaysia,” stated Naza Group of Companies joint group executive chairman Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin.
The RM1 million 3,600 sq ft facility under the dealer company, OBM Automart (M) Sdn Bhd, is split between two locations in Kota Kinabalu namely at Alam Mesra Shop and Jalan Ganang near Kepayan highway.
The service centre feature four service bays and the showroom will feature the latest Chevrolet models available to the Malaysian market; including the recently launched all new midsize pick-up truck, Colorado.
“As recognition of the Chevrolet brand increases in East Malaysia, we are proud to carry the golden Chevrolet bowtie emblem and provide Sabah with its first Chevrolet 3S centre,” said OBM Automart (M) Sdn Bhd chairman Dato’ Oi Thiam Beng.
In conjunction with the opening of the 3S centre, customers who purchase the Chevrolet Colorado by August 31 this year will receive a petrol card worth RM300.
Naza Quest Sdn Bhd chief operating officer Datuk Maruan Mohd Said said future expansion plans in Sabah are already in place to develop an impressive RM3 million 3S centre, 20,000 sq ft in size, in Kota Kinabalu by the second quarter of 2013.
