Mommy, please come home

9th September, 2010

BEAUFORT: A sick three-year-old girl is pleading to her mother to come home.

Evyana Irzanny Mohd Nazri has been taken ill ever since her mother left home three weeks ago and no one knows her whereabouts.

“At every waking moment, she longs for her mother,” said Mohd Nazri Apal, 28, who married Evyana’s mother Rusinah Ibrahim six years ago.

Nazri, a resident of Kampung Pintas in Beaufort, said there was no quarrel between him and his wife but was shocked when she sent a SMS saying she hates us.

“I called her many times but she refused to answer my calls and eventually she sent a text message saying that she will no longer come home,” Nazri told New SabahTimes.

He related that he even told her Evyana is sick but she did not seem bothered.

“I have not given up hope…I will continue to wait for her return for the sake of our daughter’s future,” he added.
