KOTA KINABALU: The 12 Miss Earth Sabah finalists were given a pampering at Le Borneo Reflexology & Beauty Spa with an hour of foot reflexology, complemented with shoulder and back massages at the spa’s cosy outlet in Warisan Square here yesterday.
Le Borneo’s managing partner, Eddie Abdullah, explained the benefits of foot reflexology, body massages and general body wellness care to the finalists in a brief presentation.
He highlighted that the human body needed to be pampered through wellness solutions such as spa body treatment and massages, reflexology to rejuvenate, refresh and stay healthy.
“This is more so today as people’s lifestyle are continually challenged by work-related stress, causing pain, discomfort and stiffness, often causing us to limit or eliminate our favourite work or daily activities,” he said.
Le Borneo Spa offers wellness packages that help people lead more vibrant, healthy and active lives.
“Our goal is to help our customers combat these challenges and improve their quality of life,” he said.
Le Borneo Spa is the official spa for Miss Earth Sabah 2010 and Eddie added that they were pleased to be part of the Miss Earth Sabah 2010.
“We believe that everyone can help and in fact, should help in one way or another to make the world a better place to live in,” he said.
Reigning Miss Earth Malaysia and organizer of Miss Earth Sabah 2010, Mandy Nandu paid tribute to Le Borneo Spa for coming in as the official spa sponsor.
“I can say that the Le Borneo Spa visit triggers our Miss Earth Sabah finalists about the options with regards to wellness and body care,”
“While beauty is an important element, it is only when you are healthy that you look radiantly beautiful and can contribute more effectively to your favourite causes such as saving nature,” she said.
