Perodua: Myvi 1.3L G (S-Edition) is for Brunei market

10th July, 2020

KUALA LUMPUR: National carmaker, Perodua on Thursday, clarified that the Myvi 1.3L G variant, dubbed the S-Edition, which was launched on July 4, was tailored for Brunei, based on feedback from appointed distributor GHK Motors.

Perodua president and chief executive officer, Datuk Zainal Abidin Ahmad in a statement said, the version includes enhanced body kits which were sourced independently.

He was responding to the confusion among Perodua’s loyal customers over the introduction of the Myvi S-Edition.

“We are engaging with GHK Motors for more details about this variant to ensure that the additions to this variant meet the required standards.

“GHK Motors told us that the Myvi S-Edition was its attempt to introduce a variant that was better suited to their market needs. We hope this statement has given some clarification to this matter,” he said. –Bernama
