UMS initiates financial support in fight against COVID-19 outbreak

KOTA KINABALU: Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) has initiated financial support to fight COVID-19 virus outbreak.

The UMS COVID-19 Special Aid Fund calls on private companies and other organisations to pledge financial support to UMS to help replenish diminishing student essential supplies as the country struggles against the pandemic.

Students include those who are staying in hostels (inside and outside campus), undergraduates and post graduates.

Announced through its official Facebook page, UMS said due to the Movement Control Order (MCO), students (as well as staff) are exerting pressure on the resources.

Donation can be made through direct transfer to the university aid account, 5100 1302 4241 (Maybank) or JomPay to biller code 65292.
