Confusing marks gone

9th March, 2010

A check by Actionline yesterday showed that the confusing road markers at Jalan Kibabaig in Penampang have been removed. All thanks to the swift action by the district Public Works Department.

The action was taken following an Actionline report entitled ‘Erase Confusing Road Marks, Says Motorist’ dated March 3.

MATA from Luyang had then urged the relevant authorities to remove the markings to avoid confusion. The complainant had said that he was driving along the area not long ago but was unsure with the markings and ended up driving onto a road curb.

He hoped the authorities would do something about it so that people like him who was not familiar with the area would not get confused.
