Manhattan Suites at ITCC, world-class facilities in the heart of Penampang

14th February, 2016

By ERIC BAGANG

PENAMPANG: The launch of Manhattan Suites at ITCC will bring world-class facilities right to the heart of the district and greater Kota Kinabalu.

Ceasar Mandela Malakun, Group General Manager of Sabanilam Enterprise Sdn Bhd, the developer of ITCC Penampang said that the 19-storey Manhattan Suites at ITCC consists of 295 units Small Office Versatile Office (SoVo) space in its own privately accessed tower within ITCC Penampang.

Speaking at the launching ceremony at ITCC yesterday, he said that this new concept suites the new generation’s intermingled culture of work, play and lifestyle.

“We’ve come to understand that the lines that use to divide these aspects of life are now blurred for a better quality of life, so this is where SoVo units come in to offer a solution.

“SoVo concept is where the office or work space is more than just that, therefore, acknowledging that work is just one part of a millennial’s life, the space is customised to meet the everyday needs of a person or family so that the other aspects of life can be enjoyed and experienced without having to compromise between productivity and quality personal time.

“We offer 24-hour security and state-of-the-art closed circuit television (CCTV) monitoring for the safety of residents, as well as doormen and concierge services and live-in residential manager to oversee that the residents’ needs and requirements are met with utmost satisfaction.

“There will be an executive lounge adjoined to the lush lobby for residents to conduct informal meetings or gatherings, while for a more formal meeting or conference setting, residents are given priority booking for the use of ITCC Penampang’s meeting rooms.

“Owners are also given a free one-year exclusive membership to Club M which shall give them access to the hotel facilities like the swimming pool, spa and fitness centre.

“Apart from an on-site parking bay for each unit, other facilities include children’s playground and laundry facilities for the ease and comfort of residents with family,” he said.

According to Mandela, the units comprising Type A at 771 square feet and Type B at 510 square feet are for sale at a special price during the festive season, with prices range from RM600 per square foot.

Type A units, he said, being corner units and larger ones featuring three rooms and two bathrooms, are extremely limited, while Type B intermediate units, although smaller, are very versatile as customers can purchase two adjoining units at a special price to create a bigger customisable space to meet their needs.

Asked why the suites are named Manhattan, he said that it is a well-recognised international name which signifies the international-level of amenities provided by ITCC Penampang.

The Manhattan Suites at ITCC is expected to be completed in December 2016 as its construction has surpassed 30 percent completion with six storeys already built.

Mandela also disclosed that when completed, ITCC Penampang with all of its four components namely shopping mall, office block, hotel block and Manhattan Suites block operational, is expected to generate around 10,000 job opportunities.

Also present were Sabanilam Enterprise Sdn Bhd Chairman, Datuk Seri Clarence Bongkos Malakun and Sabanilam Sdn Bhd Managing Director, Datin Seri Sylvia Wong, among others.
