Carlsberg brings best shopping experience

KOTA KINABALU: Free groceries, attractive prizes and cash ang pau are up for grab with Carlsberg ‘Prosperity Begins with a POP,’ Chinese New Year Campaign.

Sales Director of Carlsberg Malaysia, Gary Tan said the campaign that started from Dec 24 until Feb 17 is carried out in pubs, restaurants, food courts, coffee shops, convenience stores as well as super and hypermarket.

“For the first time, we bring to Sabah probably the best CNY shopping experience. You shop, Carlsberg pay. Consumers who spend RM200 on our products will get to participate and stand a chance to win free groceries worth RM800.”

Gary said this in his speech during the campaign launching ceremony at Giant Hypermarket City Mall, yesterday. He added the campaign is run at selected outlets namely Everrise Imago (Jan 19), Servay Hypermarket Penampang (Jan 26) and City Grocer Suria Sabah (Jan 27).

Also up for grabs are electronic mahjong table sets that auto shuffles and sorts game tiles that comes in two sets for convenience and hassle-free entertainment.

Meanwhile, to usher the upcoming CNY, Carlsberg wishes its consumer here and abundance of prosperity (fu), happiness (xi), wealth (fa) and good luck (wang), through its vibrant red, blue, pink, and green colours found across its limited-edition festive packaging in Carlsberg and Carlsberg Smooth Draught big bottles and small cans. “The innovation gives a modern twist to the four Chinese greetings messages.”
