Aptitude test for students at education fair

7th December, 2017

KOTA KINABALU: Students with questions about what the next step for their career should attend an aptitude test at an education fair here today.

The ARK’s Malaysian Education Fair Roadshow at the Promenade Hotel here from 1-5pm will conduct the test free of charge. There will also be a talk ‘How to choose a career’ by renowned career consultant, K Krishnan. A second talk is on ‘financial aid and scholarship’.

The nationwide roadshow kicked off in Tawau on Dec 5 and Sandakan yesterday. It will end on Dec 19.

It is ideal for students who have completed their SPM (sijil Pelajaran Malaysia) and STPM (Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia), said a statement from ARK Publications, the organizer.

It recommended the aptitude test to students ‘who do not know where to start’, adding that the test will reveal a student’s strengths and weaknesses and match them with careers.

Through the roadshow, students also get to find out where they might obtain financial aid and how to apply. They will also get to distinguish between scholarship and education loans.

A number of colleges are taking part in the roadshow. They are Segi College, Perdana University, Ramsay Sime Darby Healthcare College, Manipal International University, Almst University, Cyberlynx International College, University Malaysia Computer Science & Technology, DRB-Hicom University, Laxamana College Brunei, Global School of Technology & Management Singapore, SDH+ Institute Singapore and JL Institution Singapore, amongst others.
