14th September, 2017

KOTA KINABALU: An unemployed man was jailed a month and fined RM200 in default two weeks’ jail for stealing 12 packs of 1.1kg Milo worth more than RM200.

Mohamad Akbar Busra, 34, who was brought before Magistrate Cindy Mc Juce Balitus, stole the items on Sept 9, at 10.30am at Giant Supermarket in Kolombong, Inanam.

He was convicted under Section 380 of the Penal Code, which provides for a jail term of up to 10 years and shall also be liable to a fine.
