KOTA KINABALU: Opsss RC A lifted the Datuk Tawfiq Abu Bakar Titingan Cup Tawau Rugby 10s title after demolishing its B team, Opsss RC Bilis Bilis 38-0 in the Cup final at the Tawau Sports Complex field on Saturday.

En route to the championship tie, Opsss RC A blanked Opsss RC Development Team 12-0 in the semis, while Opsss RC Bilis Bilis ousted T-Rex 12-7.

Keningau Titanium RC won the Plate title after defeating Hornets 22-0 in the final. In the Bowl final, T-Rex defeated Opsss RC Development Team 12-5.

For the record, a total of 10 teams competed in the one-day tournament organised by Tawau Rugby Association.

N56 Apas Community Development Leader Sarman Amat Simito, Sabah Rugby Union President Velayuthan Tan, Sabah Sports Board board member Tony Taha as well as TRA president Ardyaffendy Mohammad Arifin were present at the prize giving ceremony.
