RM25,000 up for grabs

KOTA KINABALU: Organisers are calling on all local hulksters around the state to take part in the Mr Borneo 2017 Bodybuilding and Physique Championship, to be held at the Ranau Community Hall on November 25.

The championship jointly organised by Sabah Bodybuilding Association (SBBA) and Ranau Bodybuilding Association (RBBA) will feature a total of seven categories for interested participants.

Among the categories available are Under 65KG, 65-75KG, 75-85KG, 85KG and Above, Ranau District Closed, Physique Below 170cm and Physique Above 170cm where a total of RM25,000 in cash prizes are up for grabs.

Organising spokesperson, Joseph Sylvester said that participants are allowed to register a maximum of two categories whereby they have set a target of 50 to 60 participants for this year’s championship.

“Those interested in participating can obtain the registration forms from SBBA or RBBA where the championship is open to all bodybuilders from Sabah, Sarawak, Labuan, Brunei and Kalimantan,” he said when contacted, yesterday.
