5ver – Sabah’s own e-hailing service

5th August, 2017

KOTA KINABALU: The recent move by the Malaysian government to legalise e-hailing services such as GrabCar and Uber has provided a perfect platform for a newly set up e-hailing delivery service in Sabah.

5ver, a local-based e-hailing ride and delivery service provider is the first operator to offer this unique feature as an additional service for its drivers and users.

This service will be in operation this Saturday (today) in and around Kota Kinabalu area for its initial launch from 2pm-4pm.

Current 5ver’s drivers and potential users are encouraged to try this new service as 5ver believes this platform will be widely used and accepted by the local customers as a new mode of transporting goods.

The apps are currently available for downloads at Google Playstore for android-based users.

5ver explains that by using their services to transport goods, it would save time, effort as well as reduce cost for the users. Some of main features of the 5ver e-hailing services are advance booking, favourite driver, multiple choice of vehicle, emergency panic button, Geo-location detection, and complete details of the driver’s profile.

Meanwhile, 5ver also urges retail business owners to use this new service as it is an effective method of reducing their cost of delivery as well as a convenient mode of transportation.

Although 5ver is similar to Uber or GrabCar in terms of providing transportation, however, its unique feature in supplying delivery of goods for the local customers who are market savvy is certain to create a potentially lucrative niche market.
