AirAsia incorporates new subsidiary

18th April, 2017

KUALA LUMPUR: Low cost airline operator, AirAsia Bhd, has incorporated AirAsia Corporate Charter Sdn Bhd (AACC) which will operate as a full-fledged charter and private unscheduled business jet operator.

AirAsia, in a filing to Bursa Malaysia on Monday, said the incorporation followed the proposed acquisition of one unit of Bombardier BD-700-1A10 Global Express 9M-CJG from Caterhamjet Global Ltd on April 13.

“The principal activities of AACC will be to acquire and manage the aircraft and to become a full-fledged charter and private unscheduled business jet operator,” it added. –Bernama
