Sabah Football Association President Datuk Seri Panglima Musa Haji Aman said Jelius Ating has been given the green light to head the Premier league while Justin Ganai and Awang Sabtu Jamil will lead the Under 21 and Under 19 squads respectively.

“The appointments of these former players are testimony to SAFA’s commitment to improve the team’s performance including all three leagues.

It is my hope that with these appointments, the State football team can be competitive within the national league,” he said in a statement after meeting with the Minister of Youth & Sports cum SAFA Deputy President, Datuk Tawfiq Abu Bakar Titingan and SAFA’s other Deputy President, Datuk Lawrence Gimbang here yesterday.

He called on all players to give their full cooperation to the three newly appointed coaches.
