By VESTA VANESSA JSOL

KOTA KINABALU: The popular Facon Education Fair is back to help school leavers and young working adults by providing vital information on further studies within Malaysia and overseas.

To be held at the Hyatt Regency Kinabalu Hotel here today (March 18) from 12pm-6pm, the fair is being organized by Facon Exhibitions Sdn Bhd and is endorsed by the Ministry of Education.

It is recognized for its contribution to the education industry and human resource development. Facon Exhibitions Sdn Bhd said that the event will provide visitors a superb opportunity to get to know award winning institutions all under one roof.

These institutions include Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU), National University of Singapore (NUS), Erican College, International Medical University, SEGi University & Colleges and UCSI University.

Visitors to the fair will also get a unique chance to meet representatives from these renowned institutions from overseas, making it the comprehensive show to gather vital information on further education.

“The information gathered will help you make a better choice when deciding on your future education path,” the organizer said through a statement here, yesterday.

There are options aplenty on courses ranging from Design to IT, Business to Law, Medicine to Mass Communications, Engineering to Sciences, and Accounting to Finance.

Many of these programmes not only emphasized academic excellence but also give equal emphasis on work experience and communication skill, thus boosting students’ employability. For working adults who wish to pursue Postgraduate programmes, there is also a wide range of courses being offered.

Study loan institution, PTPTN (National Higher Education Fund Corporation) will be at the fair to disseminate information.

Visitors to the fair will stand a chance to win an iPhone 7 and Mini iPad 4. The Lucky Draw session will be conducted at the final leg of the nationwide fair at the Equatorial Hotel in Melaka on 19 March 2017.

Visitors are advised to bring along their result slips and relevant documents for more accurate assessment when meeting the counsellors and representative of the institutions.

Since its inception, the prestigious event has been attended by millions of visitors, underlining its popularity.
