Stand to win in Celcom Game Hero

9th March, 2017

By VESTA VANESSA JSOL

KOTA KINABALU: Everyone can now be a hero and win cash prizes from a pool of RM1 million by participating and battling it out for the top scores in the all-new Celcom Game Hero.

The activity is being organised by Celcom Axiata Berhad and in collaboration with its first gaming partner, Techninier Sdn Bhd.

Chief Executive Officer of Celcom Axiata Berhad, Michael Kuehner said that Celcom is dedicated to deliver ‘a cutting edge mobile gaming experience’.

“Celcom Game Hero is the first of many initiatives that will further enhance and meet the digital needs of the mobile gaming community.

“Customers today love playing games on their mobile phone, creating a high demand for the best seamless network for a gaming experience without any interruptions.

“With customer experience as Celcom’s top priority, both casual and expert mobile gamers can look forward to many more exciting initiatives that will deliver the best mobile-gaming experience,” said Kuehner in a statement.

Celcom Game Hero begins its mobile-game tournament with ‘Sky Invasion 3D’, a major revamp of the wildly popular classic shoot-em-up genre.

‘Sky Invasion 3D’ is a generic aircraft shooting game that can be easily participated by casual and expert gamers. Mobile gamers just need to gain a high score and be placed on the leader boards to be in the running for cash prizes.

Supported on Celcom’s strong network coverage and with a weekly subscription of only RM3, Celcom Game Hero’s ‘Sky Invasion 3D’ can be downloaded via Google Play and iOS App Store.

The biggest mobile game tournament in Malaysia will enable anyone to participate and enjoy a free trial of the ‘Sky Invasion 3D’ tournament from today until 6 April 2017.

Meanwhile, Chief Executive Officer of Techninier Dato’ Lion Peh, said this tournament will set the bar at a new high, a record-breaking milestone for Techninier following the success of mobile game tournaments it previously hosted.
